Vegan Apple Pie


For 2:

  • 200 gr of all Purpose Flour
  • 50 gr of cornstarch
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 150 ml of vegan yoghurt
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 4 apples
  • 80 gr of soft vegan butter
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped almonds


Remove 2 tablespoons from the vegan butter, beat the rest with sugar. Mix yogurt with lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and vanilla and add it to the butter with the sugar. So always beat with the electric mixer. Separately mix the dry part, flour, cornstarch and baking powder, add it to the dough by settling. Gently mix with a kitchen spatula, finally add the chopped almonds, mix one last time. Grease a baking tray with vegan butter and flour it, pour the dough into it.
Peel the apples and cut them in half then into thin slices, put them on top of the dough. Sprinkle granulated sugar over the surface of the cake, and on the apples put a little vegan butter (the one we have kept aside) Bake in the oven already hot in the ventilated mode at 350F for 30 minutes.

Once cooked, let it cool a bit before serving with powdered sugar.
