This easy cashew cheese recipe needs minimal ingredients and is going to be your favorite go-to companion for liquid cheese recipes.
Ingredients-
- 4 cups Raw cashews
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 cups nutritional yeast (8 tbsp)
- 6 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
Procedure –
1. Soak the cashews overnight and rinse and drain them the next day.
2. Add these along with other ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
3.Add less water first to maintain the consistency, if too thick, keep adding till creamy.You can adjust the salt accordingly.
4. Serve immediately with your cheese companion food.
Stays as it is in the freezer for a month so happy cheesy vegan food.
